Our Story and What Makes CHC different from other catering companies.
We started Coastal Hammock Catering with a passion for bringing fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to our community. Chef Matt has been in the catering industry for over 20 years and caters events from weddings, rehearsal dinners, family events, micro events, and even corporate events. His commitment to quality has made him a local favorite in the catering industry and area.
What makes Coastal Hammock Catering different from other Catering Companies:
1 POINT OF CONTACT:
- Chef Matt will be there from the start of your planning process, site visit, revisions to your contract, questions you may have, and the follow through, by being at your event to make sure everything is perfect.
1 EVENT , YOUR EVENT:
- Coastal Hammock Catering knows your day is SPECIAL, so we only book 1 event per day to take care of YOU and ONLY YOU.
GREAT COMMUNICATION:
- He will be easily available to answer any questions you may have about your event, not only by phone call and email, but by text as well. A great plus with Coastal Hammock Catering is we are available after business hours till 8pm.
WHAT YOU WILL SAVE WITH COASTAL HAMMOCK CATERING, WHEN SOME OTHER CATERERS CHARGE FOR .
- We Have No Cake Cutting Fee. We are already taking care of you on your Special Day. (average cost per person $2.95)
- We Have No Vendor Fee. It takes all of your vendors to make your day Special, so we take care of them at no charge with the same menu you order. (average cost per vendor $12.95)
- We Have A Lower Production Fee. Watch out for caterers charging you HIGH Production Fee of 20% to 35%. We charge a set 10% Production Fee

Based out of Murrells Inlet, Coastal Hammock Catering travels to: Horry County, Georgetown County, Charleston County, Marion County, Florence County, Sumter County, Dillon County, Berkeley County, Darlington County, and Williamsburg County . We would love to be part of your special day!
